Coconut Cream: Rich, Decadent, and Sweet
Coconut cream, sourced from the white endosperm commonly referred to as the coconut meat, is produced through the process of grating or shredding the meat, followed by pressing the meat to extract the cream. Once pressed, the meat produces a dense and velvety liquid. Additionally, coconut cream can be transformed into coconut milk with the addition of water, which decreases its overall fat concentration.
iTi coconut cream contains 24% fat. The fatty acid profile of coconut cream consists of monounsaturated fatty acids, like oleic acid, as well as medium-chain fatty acids, such as lauric acid, capric acid, and caprylic acid. Apart from that, coconut cream is low in sugar and carbohydrates, and is cholesterol-free.
Guava: Delightfully Tangy and Sweet
Guavas are small, exotic fruits that are commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. Resembling pears in shape, these fruits are typically 2 to 4 inches long and go through several stages of maturation. The fruit — which has edible seeds and is rounded in shape — grows on the Psidium guajava tree, a member of the myrtle family. Before reaching full maturity, the fruit's skin is dark green, very hard, and astringent.
Pink guava is a fruit that is rich in essential vitamins and nutrients. It contains high levels of lycopene, vitamin C, fiber, beta-caronede, folate, niacin, and pyridoxine.
