Pineapple is a good source of manganese (91% DV in a 1 cup serving), as well as containing significant amounts of Vitamin C (94% DV in a 1 cup serving). Pineapple contains a proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which breaks down protein.
Pineapple juice can also be used as a marinade and tenderizer for meat. It is also a favorite when processed into fruit juices, beverages, marmalades, jam, jellies, or candies. iTi now supplies Pineapple juice concentrate and Pineapple juice.
Pineapple juice supplied by our company is aseptically manufactured in Costa Rica. Pineapple Juice is obtained from mechanical extraction of the juice of fresh, sound, and ripe pineapples that is pasteurized prior to the aseptic filling. No preservatives are added. The facility is Kosher certified and manufactured under a certified quality control system (ISO 9001:2000) and HACCP regulations. This product can be used for many food applications.
The pineapple juice concentrate is obtained by evaporation of the water in the single strength juices. We obtain pineapple concentrate from Thailand and offer product in two different Brix levels 61 and 65. The processing confirms to good manufacturing practices and is carefully processed to maintain the sensory and nutritional properties of the original fruit. Product is 100% natural with no additives. The pineapple concentrate can be used in different beverage applications.
