Mango

Mango is grown in tropical and sub tropical latitudes around the world. Within the past decade, Mango has become popular for its rich and robust tropical fruit flavor and bouquet. This velvety smooth tropical fruit adds an accent of truly tropical flavor notes to any dish. They are often made into mango puree as a sweet treat.

The fruit flesh of a ripe mango is extremely sweet, with a distinctive taste. The feel of the flesh varies noticeably between different varieties; some have quite a supple and yielding texture, while others have a firmer flesh much like a cantaloupe or an avocado. Mangoes are very succulent; the sweet taste and high water content of the tropical fruit make them invigorating to eat or to be used as a puree.
