Guava Puree

This exotic tropical fruit has a unique silky texture, perfume and natural sweet and decadent flavor. iTi Tropicals Guava fruit puree is a natural masterpiece - differentiated as the tropical fruit itself. Its fleshy pink tint make it an attractive base for ice cream and, smoothies, desserts, cocktails, savory sauces, and anything else that can benefit from the taste of delicious tropical fruit.

Tropical Guava fruits can be round, water melon or pear-shaped, 1 1/2 - 4 inches long. They are soft when ripe, creamy in texture with a peel that softens to be fully consumable. The fruit may be pink, white, yellow, or red. The sweet tropical fruit perfume is distinct and penetrating. The Guava fruit seeds are small and fully edible.

Commercially available as Guava juice, concentrate, puree, and IQF pieces.

Did you know? Guava juice, made by boiling sliced, unseeded guavas and straining, is often used in Hawaii in punch and ice cream sodas. Guava juice is made into syrup for use on waffles, ice cream, puddings and in milkshakes. Guava juice and nectar are among the numerous popular canned or bottled fruit beverages of the Caribbean area.
