Gac Puree Tropical Products
GAC is a very popular fruit in South East Asia, particularly in China and Vietnam. GAC is a bright-red
fruit that grows as large as a cantaloupe and covered with short spines, hence it is sometimes referred
to in English language as "Spiny Cucumber" or "Balsampear".
GAC fruit is known as the "Fruit from Heaven"
because it is packed with nutrients and antioxidants. Recent scientific analysis of GAC oil has revealed
that GAC contains significant and extraordinarily high amounts of important anti-oxidants necessary for
good health. Relative to mass, it contains up to 70 times the amount of lycopene found in tomatoes.
It has also been found to contain up to 10 times the amount of beta-carotene of carrots or sweet potatoes.
Additionally, the carotenoids present in GAC are bound to long-chain fatty acids, resulting in what is
claimed to be a more bio-available form.
There has also been recent research that suggests that GAC
contains a protein that may inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells. GAC puree can be used in various
food applications like juices, sauces, marinades and jams.
GAC puree is a natural product extracted from the fruit after careful selection of the fruits.
The fruit is processed by a de pulper and passed through a sieve and frozen. There are no
preservatives added and the product is undiluted and 100% natural. GAC puree has a typical fresh
flavor of the natural fruit. GAC puree can be used in various food applications like juices,
sauces, marinades and jams.
