Dragon Fruit

The tropical fruits flesh, which is eaten raw, is gently sweet and low in calories. Eating the tropical dragon fruit is sometimes compared to that of the kiwi fruit due to a distribution of small black crunchy seeds found in the flesh. This makes for a similar texture when eating the exotic fruit.

The dragon fruit may be made into wine or juice; the flowers can be eaten raw or brewed into a tea. It is suggested that dragon fruit should be eaten chilled, for superior taste. The exotic fruit can also be made into any assortment of other products: ice creams, yogurts, beverages, and nearly anything else that can use a tropical twist.
