We are pleased to announce that Mr. Roberto Aragon has joined iTi Tropicals, Inc. as Director, Business Development. Roberto brings more than 30 years of professional experience in the food and agribusiness sectors. Prior to joining the iTi team, Mr. Aragon developed and managed various agro-industrial enterprises in Costa Rica whose products gained recognition in different international markets. Roberto will continue to be based in Costa Rica to strengthen iTi’s presence in Central and South America and the Carribean.

Mr. Aragon’s technical, commercial and managerial expertise have been instrumental in the expansion of diverse food, beverage and related industries in markets such as the US, European Union, Asia, Australia, South America, Caribbean, among others. His broad expertise spans agriculture, financing, project development, management, international trade, liaison with private and public sectors. Roberto also enhances iTi’s strengths in working with diverse cultures and customer requirements.

Roberto holds a BS Agriculture from The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS).

Roberto has three children, aged 23, 21 and 18. Among his pastimes are fishing, music, gastronomy and sports.
